The Finnish Cultural Foundation awards grants for international artists’ residency programmes each year. Some of the 2022 programmes present changes in response to the COVID-19 situation.
Call open for 2022:
NEW PARTNER: Fabrikken, Copenhagen, Denmark, 3 months for visual artists
NEW PARTNER: NART, Narva, Estonia, 3 months for visual artists (individual artists or work pairs)
Triangle, New York, United States, 3 months for visual artists
Applications to the Cultural Foundation are submitted via the Online Application Service within the application period. The Online Application Service closes at 4.00 pm local Finnish time (Eastern European Time) on the deadline date.
A maximum of four artists’ residencies can be applied for in a single application. The application must place the residencies in order of preference, and the work plan must indicate how the nature of the work would differ in each residency.
In each August Application Round of the Cultural Foundation, you may apply either for one of the Foundation’s residencies or for the mobility grant, but not for both.
